Shopping - CHECK. Clean room - CHECK. Make food - CHECK. Lit a candle for some Lavender aromatherapy, Phantom of the Opera playing on TV in background, bought some Prick Stick to schtick in stuff to my visual journal WOOP! ^^
I am extremely tired … I wanted to process film and print in the darkroom yesterday but only managed to process in the end due to so many people being in the processing room washing negs there were no spare spools. The printer in the dry darkroom stopped working and won’t be working again till Monday the earliest but they are chemicals out so not all bad. Only thing is I promised my friend in Cork I’d got to his 20th night out tonight but I can’t since I need to print contact sheets and work prints for Tuesday when we have our tutorials…
I’m HANGING because I didn’t eat properly yesterday and was so nervous about the class presentation we each had to do for Digital class in college yesterday but I done it and its over. THANK GOD! Left my friends house this morning at 7:10am to run up to mine 20 mins away to put out the bins for the house I am staying in for collge and I LUCKILY managed to get them put out =D ! I was looking at peoples bins as I was walk/running up the road I actually stopped and opened one to see if they had already been collected O.o what people must of thought I was doing like..
Lets just say that next year, I won’t be living with any OCD ANAL people again !

had a massive chat with Billy tonight on Bookface was mental reminiscing about sneaking into nightclubs through the roof, drinking vodka and cranberry juice outta coffee cups in his Range Rover and digging for Viking gold…I think that was one of the best summers of my life like ^^ up early tomorrow off to Library…THEN to shoot in la Studio!

“Sense of Place” - Photo 2
This is the second photo of the three part narrative we had to compose for this project in college. Again a triple exposure. The pillowcase (over my head that I was pulling back on) was meant to symbolise a suffocation feeling I get sometimes when anxious. The lightbulb, again symbolises my mind. The upside-down tree was a happy accident, I just made up a meaning for this, it symbolises the roots of the anxiety and how it stems throughout my entire body.

I shot this for my “Sense of Place” project in college using film - aim of the brief was to capture the essence of a place. I picked my mind but I honed in one the over-anxious part. I’ve always been anxious since I was small. The tree was meant to represent a sort of spinal column but that failed..miserably haha! The shadow is myself of course and the light is a lightbulb which represents my mind. It was my first proper attempt of a triple exposure.

all the tungsten lights stopped working, had my set up..film loaded, lights on…turned off main lights and bulb blew in the light I was using and all other lights weren’t working…so wasted a roll of film all because stupid fucking lights. I would LOVE the studio if every time I went in there the equipment would WORK!!

Bit nervous about tomorrow. Helen is going to be shooting me in the studio with a Hassleblad as part of our studio brief for COOLAGE.
Day 6 : Photo365
Hassleblad stuck on the first frame, dark slide was out nothing hindering it from taking a photo…so I take it off the quick release and *SNAP* it takes a photo…same happened with second roll Kev kindly lent me…I like studio but I just felt so defeated today because the people who are meant to be in the equipment room weren’t there SO I had to wait around go back to my house and back to college…go buy lettuce for setup and now I don’t have any shots…I won’t even start on the equipment at college cause I’d be here all day. I want NEED a cocktail!!
